The Bagel Station ("we," "us," or "our") operates point-of-sale, self-service kiosk, and order-tracking systems for our stores. This page explains what information we collect through those systems, how we use it, and who we share it with.

  • Order and contact information. When you place an order at the register or a self-service kiosk, we collect the items you ordered and, if you'd like a text message when your order is ready, your phone number.
  • Loyalty activity. We track loyalty points associated with your phone number so we can credit them to future visits.
  • Payment information. We record how you paid (cash or card) and the amount charged. We do not store full card numbers or other card details ourselves.
  • Employee information. For our staff, we maintain an account (name and email), a PIN used to clock in and out, and time-clock and labor records.

How We Use Your Information

  • To prepare, fulfill, and let you track your order.
  • To text you when your order is ready for pickup, if you gave us a phone number.
  • To track and apply loyalty rewards.
  • To run our business: staff scheduling, payroll support, and sales reporting.
  • To keep our systems secure and working correctly.

Cookies

Our systems use cookies that are required for the site to function — for example, to keep you signed in, or to remember your in-progress order at a self-service kiosk. We don't use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to help run our systems, including a cloud hosting provider for our servers and data, and a messaging provider we use solely to send the "your order is ready" text message. These providers only receive the information needed to perform that service and aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention and Security

We keep order, loyalty, and employee records for as long as needed for business, tax, and legal purposes. Access to this information is limited to authorized staff who need it to do their jobs, and our systems are protected with industry-standard safeguards.

Your Choices

Providing a phone number at checkout is optional — it's only used for order-ready texts and loyalty tracking. If you'd like us to delete your information or have questions about what we have on file, please reach out using the contact information below.

Children's Privacy

Our systems are intended for use by our customers and staff in-store and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children online.
